Was held Wednesday, October 24 at 20.30 in the premises of the former library, now used for meetings and site of cultural associations, the election of new directors of the Tourism Association Pro Loco of Borth. The culture was introduced to present the names of those who had expressed a desire in the days preceding the application and has requested confirmation. Present were members of the outgoing executive who explained the work done in recent years and the work planned for 2007 remains to be done. The outgoing President A. Deriu reminded that the next stage is the organization of the festival of "de sa bur attunzu" and briefly outlined some organizational systems to be followed given the previous experiences. Dispelled doubts and requests for clarification was passed in the vote that generated the following result. Those elected were Messrs.: Marco Porcu, Deriu Giangavino, Chris Meloni, Roberto Putzulu, Gianfranco Puggioni, Angius Antonello, Giuseppe Salaris, Fara and Assuntina Nieddu Franca. Tuesday coating the meeting that, by statute, will lead the nominations for officers. A praise then to all those who joined and a wish for fruitful work for the elect, who will organize and coordinate social and cultural events in the coming years for the community of Borth. Special thanks also to the associations and the board's majority and minority groups who have expressed their candidate and all those who wanted to join without being part of any association.
