BIENNIAL AWARD FOR POETRY IN ENGLISH SARDA

Year 2009 First Edition

REGULATION

1. The competition is open to all unpublished works, unpublished and never awarded in other competitions, written in the Sardinian language, including all its local variants. Participation is free.

2. The competition is divided into three sections, with any subject: - Section A: poetry in rhyme - Section B: Poetry in blank verse - Section C: reserved for local authors, to poems in rhyme or blank verse.

Section A on the poem in rhyme, is devoted in this first edition of the competition, the poet bortigalese Pantaleo Serra (1924-1979).

3. And 'The participation of the same section, with only one work that must not exceed 44 lines.

4. The works must be submitted in 8 copies, typewritten and attached at least three copies of the translation into Italian. If possible, welcome to copy the work in digital format (CD or DVD).

5. The works will be signed but not marked with a pseudonym. The author details (name, address, telephone number and any e-mail), together with the title and the pseudonym, with its signature of the author, should be enclosed in a sealed envelope and non-transparent insert, along with copies of the work (and any digital form), in a larger envelope. Outside of the envelope must be small given the section in which you participate, the title and the name used. Outside the large envelope (in top left) is shown the section in which you participate.

6. The works should be sent only by mail or priority mail (not recommended) not later than September 15, 2009 at the following address:

7. The works will be judged by a Jury in charge, whose decision is unique and unquestionable.

8. The organization has the right to use the winning poems (including those mentioned and reported) in the manner it deems appropriate, for purposes relating to the Contest, without nothing for this duty to the author, who remains the owner. The operator presses for sections A and B will not be published and may therefore be regarded as unusual, although the author can not claim the refund.

9. The winning works in the three sections will be published in a book that will be available the day of the ceremony. For the section C is to be published also in other non-winning entries and with the consent of their respective autori.Il book back, however, the full list of participants.

10. Prizes included: Sections A and B: For the first three places are the following prizes:

1st Prize: € 500.00 - 2nd Prize: € 300.00 - 3rd Prize: € 200.00.

the 1st place of A (poetry in rhyme) is also given the trophy Pantaleo Serra ", offered by relatives of the poet.
Other prizes (not cash) are planned for the authors of the works mentioned or reported. Section C: It will be rewarded with a personalized license plate, the author of the poem deemed most worthy by the jury.

All winning poets will also receive a participation certificate and a copy of the book containing the poems (the latter will be offered to all participants of section C).

11. The results the competition and the date of the award ceremony will be announced in due course to all participants by mail or telephone.

12. Whether this Notice that the date for the awards, together with the results of the competition, will be duly advertised in major newspapers including Sardinian and some Internet sites, participation in the Contest is now open to anyone who becomes aware, while not getting the home this announcement.

13. The authors participants authorize the organizers to the processing of their personal data for purposes related to the competition. 14. Participation in the competition implies full compliance with and acceptance of these rules, on pain of exclusion.
