I would send you this for sympathy for the despicable act took place in recent days in our parish church. I am referring to the theft of the gold of the sacred image of Santa Maria de 'sauccu. A gesture that leaves absolutely condemn certainly stunned the entire community bortigalese. A gesture that demonstrates a reckless insensitivity made by people on the edge of ethics and integrity. As respects the work of law enforcement with regret that I hypothesize will not be able to recover the stolen goods in the chronicles as was the case for similar cases in other countries. But I think it the least, this is not what matters. The act itself is humiliating and inexcusable even in the dictates of Christian culture that characterizes us forgiveness prevails on the sentencing.
We feel close to the pain of the community for the insult suffered and I hope that gestures of this kind should never happen again.
